The first events of TAB 2015 will kick off this week already with the opening of the "3DL - Architectural Algorithms and Ideas in Space" exhibition on the 3rd September at 18 in the Estonian Design and Architecture Gallery. Have a look at the detailed programme of the opening week!
Next week begins with the Tallinn-Helsinki tunnel workshop at the Estonian Centre of Architecture on 7th and 8th September.
On 9th September, the official opening day of TAB 2015, the Competition for the Baltic Schools of Architecture opens at 10 in Telliskivi Loomelinnak. From 11 you can take a peak into some of the most innovative architecture offices of Tallinn. At 17:00 a discussion “Public Space in the Digital Age” will be held at the TAB Club (Põhja pst 27 a).
TAB official opening will take place at Kultuurikatel at 18:30 to be followed by the opening of the TAB-Lab exhibition and curatorial tour by Damiano Cerrone and Helen Pau.
TAB Symposium “Hyperlocal City”, curated by Ivan Sergejev, will kick off at 9 on the 10th September for two days. The award ceremony and exhibition opening of the Vision Competition “Epicentre of Tallinn”, curated by Arhitekt Must, will be held at 19:30 at Viru Keskus.
The main exhibition "Body Building” will be opened on 11th September at 19:30 in the Museum of Estonian Architecture. The exhibition is curated by Sille Pihlak and Siim Tuksam. The opening will be followed by the presentation of TAB 2015 catalogue and party at Kultuurikatel from 21:30.
On 12th September at 15 TAB Club invites to the public lecture “Concept of resilience” by Pete North. At 18 the exhibition “Danish Architecture” will be opened in Vabaduse tunnel, at 19 the exhibition “New Architects” will be opened in Solaris Centre as part of TAB satellite programme, curated by Rebecca Kontus.
