The entries to the Tallinn Architecture Biennale Vision Competition "Epicentre of Tallinn" are published in the digital catalogue and are open for audience vote.
The vote in the digital catalogue is open until 10th September when the exhibition of the entries will be opened at the Viru Keskus shopping centre, just next to Viru Square, the subject of the competition. The entry with most votes will receive the audience prize together with the jury awards at the opening of the exhibition.
The competition that is looking for ideas for the busiest junction in central Tallinn for the future when self-driving cars have taken over the streets has received 23 entries from 14 countries.
The organizer of the Vision Competition Arhitekt Must is looking forward to find out if the audience choice will coincide with the jury’s: “The visions of a city can’t be just a decision by experts. Eventually the citzens will have to decide towards which vision to drive the city. In this way the topic of TAB ‘Self-Driven City’ receives a much wider meaning than just the material environment.”
TAB invites everyone to cast a vote for your favourite blueprint of the Epicentre of Tallinn here.
