Tallinn Technical University Landscape Architecture studio project is focused on the revitalisation of industrial areas. Our primary case study is the empty Sitsi textile factory in North-Tallinn. Before generating new ideas we must be aware of international examples of revitalisation. We discuss what kind of new functions these former factories could be given and what are the various revitalisation strategies? What kind of role landscape architecture can play in all this?
